Our responsibility does not end at placement. We provide structured wellness check-ins during the first 30 days to ensure both the recipient and the companion are adjusting safely and comfortably. This includes guided support, routine check-ins, and access to trusted care recommendations.

📅 Support Structure

Week 1: Check-In (24–72 hours)

• Phone or video call: Is the puppy eating? Sleeping patterns? Emotional response?

Week 2-3: Adjustment Support

• Quick follow-up
• Addressing the following: anxiety (puppy and person), routine issues and other questions.

Week 4: Stability Check

• Confirm: is the bond forming, is home environment safe, or no rehoming concerns.

Optional: Partnering With

• A local vet or a pet wellness advisor.

Each placement includes a carefully guided introduction between the recipient and their companion. This moment is handled with intention, calmness, and emotional awareness—allowing a genuine connection to form naturally. When permitted, this moment is documented and shared with sponsors as part of the life-changing impact they helped create.

This agreement ensures the following:

• The puppy is NEVER surrendered to a shelter.
• The puppy remains in a loving home—even after loss.
• The puppy is always accounted for and protected.

The complete agreement will be emailed or printed and must be signed by the sponsor, the recipient and the program director as the witness. We value the puppy's welfare from the start to the end should the recipient is unable to take care of the puppy in the future.
